Additional Forrest WW10407125 Woodworker II 10-Inch 40 Tooth ATB .125 Kerf Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor Information

Forrest's blades offer a superior cut that leaves a rip-cut saw edge that is as smooth as if it had been sanded, and a cross-cut edge that is almost mark-free. The blades run very quietly, and backside tearout in plywood is negligible. Each blade is virtually hand-made. The plate is hand-tensioned (up to 15 minutes per blade), superior C-4 carbide teeth are hand-brazed to the plate, and the blade is straightened and re-straightened multiple times throughout the process. Think of a Forrest blade as a tool in your shop, not an accessory. Forrest stands behind its' blades by offering a sharpening service that bring blades back to the exact tolerances offered in a new blade. And this same exacting service is available for other manufacturer's blades as well, so they should come back better than new. Forrest Woodworker 1 Saw Blade For Radial and Table Saws. These trim and cross-cut ALL PURPOSE blades give scratch-free POLISHED cuts on wood, RIP or CROSSCUT, up to 2-inches thick. They have a 30-degree Alternate Top Bevel with a 5-degree Face Hook on 10-inch diameters and smaller.

What Customers Say About Forrest WW10407125 Woodworker II 10-Inch 40 Tooth ATB .125 Kerf Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor:

I am disappointed with the performance of this blade as it causes a lot of burnt marks on my wood, both solid and plywood. May be it needs to be sharpened but it is brand new and I can't find anyone locally to sharpen it. I bought this blade because of someone's recommendation. It also does not cut as smoothly as my lower cost blades.

It sliced through 2 inch thick Hard Maple and Purple Heart like a hot knife through butter. Truly the finest blade I have ever used. I highly recommend this blade.

it left a smooth cut, but didn't make the cut any easier on the motor. i used it right away to rip a piece of 2x4 douglas fir. i found it to be an easier cut, but it wasn't as smooth on crosscuts (which makes sense since it wasn't designed to crosscut). i replaced the stock blade with a freud 12" crosscut blade and was blown away by how smoothly it cut. it's freud for me from now on. i wasn't too impressed.

my conclusion in these tests is that the forrest blade is nice if you have the power of a cabinet table saw, but probably won't work for those of us who can't shell out 1k for a table saw. first some background: i got a new ridgid miter saw and used it for a while. after the stock blade on my new bosch table saw got a little dull i decided to upgrade to this one. out of curiousity i went with a freud 24 tooth rip blade.

The cut is so clean I could not see any saw marks. I have always heard how great Forrest is but was not convinced until I tried it myself.

Not a great saw but upgrade the blade and it is spectacular. I have not seen any burning or anything.

Everyone knows that sharp tools make working safer too and this is super sharp. I am using this blade on a Ryobi BTS15 tablesaw.

This is my first expensive blade and I can say that I will not go back. The time saved on sanding alone is worth the price of the blade.

I have cut through 2" thick bubinga and the cut was clean and just took a little sanding to get it finished.

Amazingly smooth cuts both ripping and cross-cut. Excellent saw blade at a fantastic price. Can't say enough good about it.
